The six, by index

Index from 0 to 100: an index of 30 means that those who live there are farther from everyday life than 70% of the 8 million people measured in the six cities. It is calculated from the walking distance along the network to the nearest place of six functions (food, education, health, recreation, culture and transit), by census section. Data: INE (2025 Annual Population Census and 2025 census sections) and © OpenStreetMap (10/20/2026; Barcelona, extract of 10/21/2026). Exploratory estimate.
